Frequenty Asked Questions

What makes the Propr brush different than traditional nylon toothbrushes ?

Propr was designed by a Periodontist, it features cutting-edge TPE rubber bristles designed to effectively eliminate plaque while remaining gentle on enamel and gums, safeguarding against gum recession. In contrast, conventional toothbrushes utilize nylon bristles that, regardless of their perceived "softness," can lead to the erosion of gums and enamel over time.

Is it true that gums don’t grow back?

This is what makes Propr truly groundbreaking. Dr. Gruber, having performed numerous surgical grafts over the years to repair damaged gums, was astonished to witness some of his patients experiencing gum regrowth without the need for surgery, solely through the use of his patented Propr Brush. This discovery proved to be a game-changer. To substantiate these remarkable observations, a comprehensive one-year research study was conducted at Western University School of Dentistry in Pomona, California. The findings revealed that using the revolutionary Propr Brush not only reduced the risk of gum recession but, in certain instances, even facilitated the regrowth of gums. The studies are available on our about page.

Will Propr be effective in removing plaque?

There is a common misconception that plaque is tough and requires vigorous and frequent brushing. In reality, plaque is soft and easily removable, without the need for aggressive brushing that may harm your gums and teeth. Propr stands out for effectively eliminating soft plaque while ensuring the well-being of your gums and teeth. However, the removal of hard tartar should be entrusted to dental professionals, such as your dentist or hygienist, through regular appointments.

Will Propr get in between my teeth?

Propr effectively cleans between teeth just like a traditional toothbrush. However, since no toothbrush can reach deep between teeth, it is essential to incorporate daily flossing with Propr Picks. This ensures thorough cleaning in the interdental spaces, where 90% of plaque tends to accumulate.

Do I need to use Propr Paste with my Propr Brush?

Although you can opt for any leading toothpaste brand, for an enhanced experience, we suggest using Propr Paste. Our specially formulated toothpaste is designed to complement the Propr Brush, providing our customers with a better experience.

What is the correct way to brush my teeth with the Propr Brush?

Floss your teeth first. Wet your Propr Brush, apply Propr Paste or the toothpaste of your choice. A small amount the size of a pea is sufficient. Brush your teeth with a back-and-forth motion or circular motion, be sure to adjust the angle of the brush as necessary to reach the back surfaces of your teeth. Brush for two minutes, at least twice a day. Remember, plaque is soft, not hard, there’s no need to over-scrub. Rinse your mouth thoroughly to remove any leftover toothpaste, food particles, and bacteria.

Can I clean my Propr Brush in my dishwasher?

No. Due to it’s design, simply washing with a gentle soap and water will clean it, as the germs have nowhere to hide.

Can I overbrush with a Propr Brush?

Due to the TPE bristles of the Propr Brush, overbrushing, as can be seen with conventional nylon bristle brushes, is not likely. Dr. Gruber advises brushing with the Propr Brush twice daily and incorporating Propr Picks at least once a day for optimal oral care.

What is the Propr 180 Challenge?

It’s simple; use the Propr Care System for 180 days, and, if you are not satisfied with the health of your gums after 180 days, we will refund your money. The Propr Care System is the Propr Brush, Propr Paste, and Propr Picks. This does not apply to single brush purchases, and you must use the system for 180 days, anything less does not qualify.

I do not suffer from Gum Recession, would I still benefit from using Propr?

Propr can serve as a preventive measure against gum recession. One cause is prolonged use of nylon bristle brushes which may expose you to the risk of developing gum recession over time.

How do I know if Propr is working?

Initially, you'll notice a tangible difference during and after brushing with Propr. There are two clinical studies that show Propr removes plaque as well as conventional soft bristle nylon toothbrushes. Additionally, we advise scheduling a visit to your dental professional after 180 days for a thorough examination of your gum health.

How long does the Propr Brush last?

We recommend replacing your Propr Brush every 3 months for optimal results.

Do you have a refund/return policy?

Due to the hygienic nature of this product, we can only accept returns for items that remain unopened. Our return policy strictly applies to manufacturing defects. It's important to note that the distinct feel of our toothbrushes after use does not meet the criteria for return eligibility.

How long after I place my order will it ship?

Orders are typically shipped within 24 hours, excluding weekends and holidays. However, from November 15th to December 31st, slight delays might occur due to holiday volume. We ship from a centrally located warehouse in Texas to expedite deliveries efficiently.
